Minister of Labor in the caretaker government, Mustafa Bayram, met with a delegation from the Union of Bakeries in Lebanon, led by Nasser Sarour, to discuss the situation of bakeries and the challenges they face. The following was agreed upon:
First: The necessity of settling the statuses of violators within legal standards and national interest for food security in coordination with the General Security.
Second: The union announced the need for Lebanese workers through the Ministry of Labor platform and in the media for skilled workers, as well as providing training for those interested, in cooperation with the Bakers' Workers Union.
Third: An announcement will be launched later, including all required conditions and standards, such as salary amounts that will be suitable for Lebanese workers, and it will include relevant contact numbers to facilitate the implementation of this announcement.
