America Opens Dialogue Channel with Israel to Address Civilian Casualties

Two American officials informed Reuters that the United States has opened a channel with Israel to discuss Washington's concerns regarding incidents in Gaza resulting in civilian deaths or injuries during Israeli military operations, as well as the targeting of civilian facilities. This channel was established following a meeting earlier this month between U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the Israeli war government, where the secretary expressed concern over the "ongoing" reports of Israeli strikes resulting in damages to humanitarian organization sites or causing a large number of civilian casualties.
