Netanyahu Talks to Leaders of Germany, Ukraine, Italy, and Britain

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke today, Sunday, with the leaders of Germany, Ukraine, Italy, and Britain, all of whom expressed their support for Israel's right to defend itself "by any means necessary," according to a statement from Netanyahu's office. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that Berlin has strengthened the protection of Israeli and Jewish institutions in the country. Scholz mentioned to reporters in Berlin that Germany stands firmly with Israel, which he noted has the right to defend itself against "savage attacks." He added, "We warn everyone against fueling and spreading terror in this situation," indicating that he would later discuss this attack with U.S. President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
