Lebanese Minister of Information Ziad Al-Makari and his accompanying delegation visited Sultan Qaboos University as part of his trip to the Sultanate of Oman. The Oman News Agency reported that the university's president, Fahd bin Al-Jalandi Al-Said, welcomed him, along with the university's assistant president for international cooperation, Mona bint Fahd Al-Said. The purpose of the guest's visit to the university is to learn about its cultural and scientific aspects. Al-Makari also visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, where he listened to a briefing about the mosque's construction history and learned about its architectural designs, which feature examples of various Omani and Islamic architectural styles. He was informed about the facilities within the mosque, such as the Institute of Islamic Sciences, the library, the lecture hall, and other amenities, according to "Oman News Agency."
