Mikati Discusses the Situation in Lebanon and Gaza with Dutch Counterpart

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati received a phone call from Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, during which they discussed the situation in Lebanon and Gaza, as well as ongoing efforts to achieve peace. The Prime Minister reiterated his call for an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza and southern Lebanon, as the continued deterioration poses a threat of the conflict extending to the entire region. The Dutch Prime Minister tweeted on the platform "X," stating: "I spoke with the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati, about the concerning situation in Israel and the Palestinian territories, which also affects Lebanon. We must prevent further escalation in the region. Another important topic we discussed is the long-term prospects. The Netherlands advocates for the establishment of a secure state for Palestinians alongside a secure Israel."
