Arrest of a Thief Red-Handed in Beirut

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division announced that "in the context of the follow-up conducted by the Internal Security Forces to investigate various types of crimes, pursue those involved, and arrest them. On 24/12/2023, through monitoring and surveillance operations regarding theft and pickpocketing within the city of Beirut, one of the patrols from the Beirut Investigation Unit was able to arrest a person red-handed while attempting to steal a woman's bag in the San George area. The individual is identified as A. H. (born in 2001, Syrian). The victim has filed a personal complaint against him. The arrested person has been detained at the relevant police station to take the necessary legal action against him based on the directives of the competent judiciary."
