Sheikh Sami Abi Al-Muna, the Sheikh of the Druze community, received a delegation at the community's headquarters in Beirut, which included lawyer Elie Qardahi, adviser to the Maronite Archdiocese of Beirut and the Mountain, Suhail Abu Hala, and World Bank adviser Munir Hamza. The discussion focused on issues related to the conditions in the Mountain region and the anticipated visit of Maronite Patriarch Bechara Al-Rahi on September 8. In this context, Sheikh Abi Al-Muna contacted Bishop Paul Abdel Satir, the Bishop of Beirut for the Maronites, during which the Sheikh reiterated "the welcome of the visit, which is a matter of interest for all of us as sons of the Mountain, and it reaffirms the essence of this region's message."
