A microbiologist shared concerning findings after testing the cleanliness of playgrounds. Tim Cole, 32, from Utah, revealed how thousands of bacteria can be found on children's hands just one hour after playing in designated areas for children's entertainment. Cole first tests his hand before visiting the playground, using a petri dish, and after waiting ten minutes, he discovers a few bacterial colonies. He then showcases the items the child played on, including play rocks and wood chips. After one hour, a small boy placed his hand in another petri dish, which Tim took home and examined. He found thousands of bacterial colonies, as well as large patches of fungi. Tim stated, "I wanted to film a video at the playground to demonstrate that bacteria are everywhere. I expected to see a lot of bacterial growth, and I noticed a lot of it."
