Arab Strategic Forum Kicks Off Tomorrow in Dubai

The Arab Strategic Forum will commence tomorrow, Wednesday, in Dubai, under the patronage of Dubai's ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The forum is titled "The State of the Arab World Politically and Economically 2024" and will feature a select group of officials from around the world, as well as strategic experts and thought leaders in politics and economics. Participants will explore the features of the upcoming phase and its implications for the landscape of global interests and balances, aiming to anticipate and address the requirements needed to confront current and future challenges both regionally and internationally, while discussing proactive and alternative solutions.

While the focus was initially intended to be on developmental challenges such as industrialization, education, and modern technology applications, observers note that the war in Gaza, along with security and military challenges and geopolitical transformations, will dominate discussions among Arab and foreign experts, politicians, and academics. It is worth noting that in 2001, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid directed the launch of the forum to bring together thinkers, political and economic experts, and decision-makers onto a single platform, utilizing two scientific approaches: the strategic approach for foresight and the strategic approach for future planning.
