Israeli Defense Minister Reveals New Phase in Gaza War

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant revealed today, Thursday, Israel's plans for the next phase of its war in Gaza, stating that it intends to adopt a more targeted approach in the northern part of the region and maintain ongoing pursuit of Hamas leaders in the south. He emphasized in a statement that "after the war, Hamas will not return to control Gaza, which is set to be managed by Palestinian entities as long as there is no threat to Israel," noting that "Israel will retain the freedom of operations, but there will be no Israeli civilian presence."
