If you want to plant something to grow and thrive, plant it today, Saturday. But why and what is the reason behind this belief? Today, Saturday, marks the first day of what is called "Seed of the Six," which lasts for six days during which all winter and summer crops are planted, according to Saudi meteorologist Khalid Al-Zaqaq.
People refer to these days as "Seed of the Six", as it is the only week of the year when winter and summer crops are planted. It includes the last three days of the "Shabat" season and the first three days of the "Scorpion" season. Moreover, crops planted during these days are usually of high quality, especially leafy greens and gourds, according to Al-Zaqaq.
Planting is divided into three categories: summer planting, which occurs in the spring; winter planting, which takes place in the fall; and mixed planting, which occurs during the "Seed of the Six" days.
