Protesters Carry Torches Near Resort Where Netanyahu Is Vacationing

Dozens of protesters against the judicial reform plan in Israel carried torches near a resort in the Moshav Ramot in the occupied Golan Heights, where Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is vacationing with his wife. The newspaper "Israel Hayom" reported that residents of the Moshav Ramot expressed their opposition to Netanyahu's visit, signing a letter addressed to the Shin Bet security service, the police, and the Prime Minister's Office, explaining their reasons for opposing the visit.

The residents wrote: "After the events in Neve Ativ, with all due respect to the Prime Minister's holiday plans, we will not agree to and will not accept any minor or major harm to the regular and ordinary functioning of all businesses here, particularly tourism and agriculture," referring to security measures taken to ensure Netanyahu's safety that would disrupt operations.
