Israeli Shelling on Southern Towns in the Morning... A Fiery Night

After a difficult night in southern Lebanon, the Israeli army continued its shelling in the morning towards towns and forests, targeting the outskirts of the towns of Aitaroun and Naqoura. A drone carried out an airstrike with a missile targeting the area between Maroun al-Ras and Yaroun, coinciding with artillery shelling in the same region.

Additionally, the Israeli artillery shelled the outskirts of Muhaybib and Blida in southern Lebanon. A house in the town of Aita Shab was hit by three shells from the Branit barracks with no reported injuries. The Israeli army also targeted a house in the town of Mais al-Jabal, and ambulance teams rushed to the scene due to casualties.

Throughout the past night, the Israeli army continued to launch incendiary shells to ignite the forests adjacent to the Blue Line and fired flares into the skies above the western and central sectors, while hostile reconnaissance aircraft hovered over Tyre and the coastline.

This morning, the public square in the town of Mais al-Jabal resembled a war zone after a very violent night during which the town and its outskirts faced intense shelling that lasted until late at night, utilizing artillery and internationally prohibited phosphorus shells.

The effects of the Israeli aggression and attacks were evident in the public square, where one residential building was struck by a guided missile launched by a hostile Apache helicopter from within Palestinian territories last night, causing significant damage to the building as well as to nearby commercial shops and apartments, which were evacuated without any reported injuries, thanks to divine providence. The damages that have not yet been documented also included the neighborhoods of Dabbakeh and the northern, western, and southern outskirts of the town that were also subjected to shelling and targeting.
