Thieves of a Gas Station in Zgharta Arrested

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following statement: "On 16-10-2023, unknown individuals entered a gas station in the Majdalia area of Zgharta and stole an amount of /4,000/ US dollars from inside, then fled to an unknown location. In response, the specialized units of the Internal Security Forces began their field and investigative procedures to identify the perpetrators of the theft. As a result of extensive inquiries and investigations, the Information Branch was able to identify the members of the theft gang, including: - A.H. (born in 1984, Lebanese) wanted under two judicial proceedings for theft - A.B. (born in 1993, Lebanese) with a criminal history related to theft and drug offenses dated 6 and 11-11-2023. After a careful monitoring and observation process, the patrols of the branch managed to arrest them in the areas of Al Nour Square and Al Bahsasa. Upon searching them, /300/ US dollars and two mobile phones were seized. During the investigation, they confessed to what was attributed to them regarding the execution of several thefts from gas stations and commercial shops in the North and Mount Lebanon governorates, in collaboration with a third person. Legal procedures were taken against them, and they were placed with the seized items at the competent authority based on judicial directions, and efforts continue to arrest the third accomplice."
