Beirut Marathon International Race on Schedule

President of the "Beirut Marathon" Association, Mai Al-Khalil, announced today, Monday, that the Beirut International Marathon will take place on schedule on Sunday, November 12, at the Beirut waterfront under the slogan "One Race, One Heart." In an interview with the National News Agency, Al-Khalil mentioned that she participated earlier today with the association's team in a preparatory meeting for the race. The marathon includes several categories, including the main distance of 42.195 kilometers for elite Lebanese male and female runners as well as foreign professional runners, along with several accompanying races. The association has prepared the logistical details for the race. This event is a reaffirmation of the will to live in the country, knowing that several editions of the race have been held under difficult circumstances the country has faced.
