Title: Baisri Chairs Emergency Meeting to Discuss Security Situation in Ain al-Hilweh Camp

The Acting Director General of General Security, Major General Elias Baisri, held an emergency meeting at the directorate's headquarters to discuss the security situation in Ain al-Hilweh camp, with Palestinian factions and the Joint Action Committee in Lebanon. Following the meeting, the Media Affairs Office of the General Directorate of General Security announced in a statement that "on this date, the Palestinian Joint Action Committee in Lebanon met at the invitation of the Acting Director General of General Security, Major General Elias Baisri, with the attendance of Dr. Basel Hassan, Head of the Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee. It was agreed to implement an immediate and permanent ceasefire, as well as to continue handing over those wanted for the assassination of Major General al-Aramoushi and his companions, as well as Abdul Rahman Farhud, to the Lebanese authorities according to an agreed mechanism."
