Families of August 4 Explosion Victims Respond to Ibrahim Hitteh: Your Position Does Not Reflect Most of Us

The families of the victims of the August 4 explosion responded to Ibrahim Hitteh, stating: "The statement issued by Mr. Ibrahim Hitteh regarding how the Lebanese people manage their personal lives, media, and other matters does not reflect the position of the majority of the families; rather, it expresses the position and feelings of the one who drafted and published it." The families added in a statement: "The demands of the majority of the families affected by the Beirut port explosion from the Lebanese people are limited to their support and standing by them in their quest for truth and justice. Moreover, when there is a need to protest against the obstructive authority, it is a legitimate demand."
