Iraqi Presidency: Attack on Popular Mobilization Forces is

The Iraqi Presidency condemned today, Thursday, "in the strongest terms the aggression that targeted one of the security headquarters in the capital Baghdad, resulting in a number of martyrs and injured." It stated in a statement: "This aggression constitutes a violation and transgression against the sovereignty and security of Iraq, and a clear infringement on the relations between Iraq and the international coalition, as well as a violation of the frameworks and justifications for which the coalition exists to provide assistance and advice to the Iraqi security forces." It highlighted that "Iraq warns of the continued escalation in the region, which could undermine opportunities for peace and stability, and calls for prioritizing dialogue and understanding to find ways to end tensions and crises among all parties." The Presidency strongly condemns the aggression that targeted one of the security headquarters in Baghdad, resulting in a number of martyrs and injuries.
