Measures Taken for Lebanese Security on New Year's Eve

The Minister of Interior and Municipalities in the caretaker government, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, and the Director-General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Imad Othman, toured to supervise the deployment of security patrols by members of the mobile forces unit at the Martyr Wissam al-Hassan Barracks in Dbayeh, to accompany the measures on New Year's Eve. The security forces urged citizens not to fire weapons and not to drive after consuming alcohol, to ensure people's safety. Mawlawi also visited the Beirut Fire Brigade and the Civil Defense.
