Israel has expressed its discomfort with the American decision to withdraw the aircraft carrier "Gerald Ford" from the Middle East, heading to its home port in Virginia, USA. Recent media reports indicated that "Gerald Ford" will leave the Middle East along with other warships within days, meaning that only one American carrier, the "Dwight Eisenhower," will remain in the region. The United States had deployed two aircraft carriers, one to the Mediterranean Sea and the other to the Gulf, following Hamas's attack on Israel on October 7 of last year.
