The Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani confirmed on Sunday that his confidence is growing in the possibility of reaching an agreement on hostages between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), describing the remaining challenges as "very minor." He added in a joint press conference with the EU's foreign policy chief Josep Borrell in Doha that the challenges facing the agreement are purely practical and logistical matters. For his part, Borrell emphasized that the UN Security Council's resolution regarding the humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza should be implemented, stating: "Security Council resolutions are not just words; they must be implemented."
