Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen stated this morning that Hezbollah must be compelled to withdraw from southern Lebanon. He continued: "There is an opportunity to avoid war in Lebanon, and if the international community fails to keep Hezbollah away from the borders, we will act alone." He added: "France can play an 'important role' in preventing the outbreak of war in Lebanon."
