The Deputy Secretary-General of "Hezbollah," Sheikh Naeem Qassem, noted that the Saudi-Iranian agreement was a bold and courageous decision from both Iran and Saudi Arabia, leading the region towards settlements, stability, and a political solution. Qassem stated: "The direction was that Iran is the enemy, and Israel wanted to partner with some Arabs to confront Iran. Today, with the Saudi-Iranian agreement, the direction has changed, and Israel has returned to being a real enemy for all. This is why we see the confusion in Israel and the bitterness they experience from this agreement, all thanks to the bold Iranian-Saudi stance."
During an iftar ceremony, Qassem remarked: "In Lebanon, everyone is waiting for the election of a president for the republic, and unfortunately, the forces representing the parliament are scattered and divided in their opinions and convictions to the extent that it is difficult to find commonalities easily. He viewed that: "One of our problems in the structure of the current parliament is that most blocs are holding on to their beliefs based on exclusivity, and they are willing to let the country collapse as long as they do not give their votes to anyone outside of their control."
