Iraq Condemns Iranian "Aggression" on Erbil and Will Take Necessary Legal Actions

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that Baghdad condemned today, Tuesday, the Iranian "aggression" on Erbil, which resulted in civilian casualties in residential areas. This follows the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's claim that it attacked an "Israeli espionage base" in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. The statement indicated that the Iraqi government will take all legal measures against what it considers a violation of Iraq's sovereignty and the security of its people, including filing a complaint with the United Nations Security Council.
