Karim Benzema Raises Concerns in Al-Ittihad Training

Al-Ittihad resumed its group training yesterday, Monday, in preparation for the tough away match against Al-Akhidood scheduled for Thursday evening, as part of the sixth round of the Roshen Saudi League. French player Karim Benzema raised concerns by not attending the training session, fearing that he might suffer an injury that would exacerbate the team’s attacking crisis ahead of the match against Al-Akhidood, especially with the absence of duo Jota and Igor Coronado due to injuries. The Saudi sports newspaper indicated that it had not clarified the reason for his absence or whether it was with prior permission.
