Severe Storm Splits Turkish Ship in Half - Video

The maritime administration of the Turkish Ministry of Transport announced that the cargo ship Pallada, flying the flag of Cameroon, ran aground and split in half due to a storm near the port of Eregli in the Turkish province of Zonguldak. The administration stated, "All 13 crew members were successfully evacuated from the ship, and afterwards, the vessel split in two due to the difficult weather conditions." The incident occurred around 10:00 Turkey time, and according to the Marinetraffic portal, the ship left Ukrainian Odessa on November 3rd.
