Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated today, Sunday, that "China calls for an end to attacks on and harassment of civilian ships in the Red Sea." This came during a press conference in Cairo following a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. Wang did not mention the Houthis but reiterated a position previously stated by other Chinese diplomats earlier this month.
