Ashdod Port Opens Its Doors to Ships Escaping Houthi Threats

The CEO of the Ashdod port in Israel, Shaul Schneider, stated today, Tuesday, that the port is ready to welcome any ships that change their course away from the Port of Eilat on the Red Sea due to threats from the Houthis in Yemen to launch attacks. Shaul Schneider mentioned at a conference hosted by the Globes business newspaper: "For us, anyone who cannot reach the Israeli Port of Eilat will certainly be able to reach Ashdod port. We have the capacity and readiness."
