The General Authority for Statistics has released the 2023 Work Health and Safety Statistics Bulletin in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The results indicate that 45.8% of workers in the Kingdom work more than 40 hours per week, while 39.6% work an average of 40 hours weekly. The actual daily working hours for employees average 8 hours. According to the results, the percentage of workers with coverage for basic healthcare is 89.7%. The most common work-related health issue over the past 12 months was "work-related stress" at 3.2%, while 83.5% of workers reported no work-related health problems.
