After the spokesperson for the Israeli Prime Minister, Ofir Gendelman, announced on Thursday evening that the Israeli army was ready for a ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, a correspondent for "Al Arabiya/Al Hadath" reported that Israeli forces have already begun a limited incursion. He added that the Israeli army is currently advancing into Gaza on a limited scale in preparation for the ground operation. It was noted that a limited incursion of several dozen meters started in the eastern area of Gaza City, specifically near the Israeli military site "Malkiya" east of the Zeitoun neighborhood in the southeastern part of the city. Additionally, this incursion was accompanied by intense airstrikes and artillery shelling, with confirmed casualties and injuries resulting from Israeli aircraft bombing a home belonging to the Al-Nadim family in the Zeitoun neighborhood. This incursion followed another limited operation carried out by Israeli forces on Wednesday evening before they withdrew after several strikes.
