Wael Dahdouh, Moataz Azizyah, Saleh Al-Jafarawy, Ahmed Hijazi, and others, who have been closely monitoring the Israeli aggression and massacres in Gaza, have chosen to evacuate southward in their latest exodus amid great fear of further massacres going unrecorded by the media. Wael Dahdouh reached the southern regions on foot.
Dahdouh decided to move south after losing his family—his wife, son, and daughter—and being forcibly displaced from his home. His words capture the anguish of the choice: "Leaving home is very difficult."
In the southern part of Gaza, reporters were greeted with cries, "We sacrifice ourselves for you, if there’s no shelter, we will shelter you."
