The chief of police in the Czech capital, Martin Vondrasek, reported that a shooting incident at a university in Prague resulted in the death of 14 people and injured 25 others, ten of whom are in critical condition. Earlier, Czech police had announced that more than 15 people had been killed in the shooting at Charles University today. The body of the shooter was found in the area. The police indicated that the shooter was a student at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University, and revealed that the student’s father had been found dead earlier today. Shortly after 3 PM (14:00 GMT), Czech police stated that they had dealt with the shooting incident before announcing the "neutralization" of the shooter.
