Mass Graves in Kenya: Searching for Paradise

The Kenyan police chief announced today, Monday, the recovery of 58 Christian bodies, most of them from mass graves in a forest in the eastern part of the country, believed to have starved to death due to their faith in entering paradise. The Kenyan Red Cross stated, "A local office set up at a hospital has been informed of the loss of 112 people." Inspector General of the Kenyan Police, Japhet Koome, mentioned, "Among the deceased, 50 were found in mass graves, in addition to eight others found alive but in a weak state who later died." He added that "29 people were rescued, and the police continue to search for other possible survivors." He noted, "Forensic investigators, homicide department officers, and other police officers, along with some government specialists in pathology, are here to conduct investigations and recover the bodies."
