Launch of the Iraqi Taekwondo Clubs Championship

The Iraqi Taekwondo Clubs Championship for seniors will kick off today, Thursday, in the province of Sulaymaniyah, with the participation of several local teams representing different provinces. In an interview with the newspaper "Al-Sabah," Falah Naim, a member of the sport's federation, stated: "The clubs championship for seniors will start today in Sulaymaniyah with the holding of a technical conference, where some points will be clarified and new regulations and laws will be discussed, in addition to announcing the total number of participating clubs, with the official activities starting tomorrow, Friday." Naim continued that "the competition will be closely monitored by our national team's coaching staff, who will be responsible for selecting the best and most suitable players to represent the sport in international events based on their results and levels. This event serves as an important preparatory stage for our athletes, in anticipation of the upcoming international challenges, especially since there are many challenges awaiting our champions in 2024 on both Arab and continental levels."
