Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced today, Tuesday, that "the Foreign Minister and the Chief of Intelligence are working in coordination with Qatari authorities to secure the release of hostages held by Hamas." He said this during a press conference with his Algerian counterpart in Algiers: "The Foreign Minister and the Chief of Intelligence continue to work in a joint effort with Qatar." Erdoğan added: "We hope to reach a conclusion regarding the prisoner exchange as soon as possible; we are in constant communication and hope to achieve positive results."
