Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari announced on Wednesday that "Israeli forces killed more than 30 militants in the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza during the past 24 hours." He added in a televised statement that "the forces expanded their operations towards a Hamas force in the south of Khan Younis." Hagari continued, "The battles there over the past day were difficult. Unfortunately, there were also casualties."
