Tragic Death of 4 Children Due to Room Collapse from Soil Erosion in Hamis - Mizziara

The torrential rains that fell last night caused soil erosion in the town of Hamis - Mizziara, leading to the collapse of a room (made of Eternit) at the foot of the mountain, which housed a family of Syrian displaced persons. This resulted in the tragic death of four children of Syrian nationality. Meanwhile, rescue and relief teams from the Civil Defense are working to remove water from inside numerous homes and warehouses in the area.
