Osama Hamdan, a leader in the Palestinian Hamas movement, confirmed that "the losses expected by the resistance in the enemy's ranks are many times greater than what is being announced," noting that "the resistance killed today in Gaza a colonel from the Shaldag unit." During a press conference in Beirut, he pointed out that "the resistance and the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades inflict heavy losses on the enemy on a daily basis, around the clock." Hamdan urged international bodies to send delegations to Gaza to verify "the absence of Hamas leaders in hospitals," stating that "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu personally bears the responsibility for obstructing the release of foreign captives." He emphasized that "the U.S. administration is responsible for the occupation's massacres in Gaza for giving it the green light" and declared, "We tell Netanyahu that the resistance will force you to pay the price for the release of your soldiers."
