Al Jazeera correspondent Wael Al-Dahdouh did not delay in taking a leave of absence after the killing of his family: his wife, son, daughter, and grandson. He did not actually take it, as duty called him and sorrow would come later. He appeared on his social media pages, including “X,” to thank everyone who supported him, commenting: “Despite the pain and the bleeding wound, I felt it was necessary to return quickly because the battles are still raging and the airstrikes continue...
