Drugs and Counterfeit Dollars Seized by Deir el-Qamar Checkpoint from Two Individuals

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division announced that at 22:15 on August 26, 2023, members of the Deir el-Qamar checkpoint arrested two individuals aboard a Mitsubishi bus heading to Beirut: H. Z. (born in 1993, Lebanese, the bus driver) and M. Z. (born in 1987, Lebanese). They were found in possession of 50 grams of cocaine and $10,000 in counterfeit money. The two were arrested and handed over along with the bus and the seized items to the Deir el-Qamar police station for legal proceedings, as announced by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces.
