The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement today, Thursday: "A patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested citizens (S.S), (W.B), (F.M), the Palestinian-Syrian (A.K), and the Syrian (Z.M) for setting fire to the Christmas tree in front of St. George's Church in the Zahiriya area of Tripoli during the night of December 24-25, 2023. Investigations with the detainees have begun under the supervision of the competent judiciary, and they have confessed to supporting the ISIS terrorist organization and other extremist groups."
