The British Prince William surprised customers at a burger cart by serving eco-friendly burgers from inside the cart in South London. The heir to the throne appeared in a video posted today, Sunday, presenting Earthshot burgers to highlight the work of last year's winners of the "Earthshot Prize," which he launched to help find solutions to major environmental issues.
While serving the burgers to astonished customers, the prince said, "I'll prepare (the burger) right away... Good morning, everyone. It's well cooked and ready to be picked up." He collaborated with the founders of the YouTube channel "Sorted Food," which features reviews of kitchen tools and shares recipes, to showcase the work of three former Earthshot Prize winners.
The prince went on to inform the burger cart's customers, "The box you are about to eat from is made by Notpla, and it contains no plastic; they have developed a packaging made from seaweed." He added, "The ingredients in the burger are grown in a greenhouse in India managed by a company called Kheti. And last but not least... we cook it on something called clean Mokuro stoves, designed by a woman in Kenya to reduce air pollution." He concluded, "I can't guarantee the taste and quality, but... I'm getting used to (this burger)."
