Assassination of a Senior Leader in "Ahrar al-Haq" in Iraq

Unknown assailants assassinated a leader in the Ahrar al-Haq movement in the Maysan province of eastern Iraq today, Sunday, according to a correspondent from "Sky News Arabia." The slain leader is Nagy al-Kaabi, who held the position of Director of Relations within the movement. Security sources clarified that the attackers fired a barrage of bullets at the car in which al-Kaabi was traveling, then fled the scene.
