First Winter Entry: Snow Traps 7 Citizens in Ainata

The General Directorate of Civil Defense issued the following statement: "At 3:00 PM on Saturday, the operations room of the General Directorate of Civil Defense received a report about citizens trapped by snow inside their cars on the Ainata - Koo' al-Bhash road." Immediately, Civil Defense personnel, in cooperation with operational units from the army, headed to the specified location and worked to rescue the 7 citizens who were inside their vehicles and unable to continue due to heavy snowfall. The personnel were able to rescue them and transport them to safety after efforts that lasted until 6:30 PM.
