Russian news agency reported on Tuesday that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia hopes to host Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at a mutually convenient time. Peskov added, "Abbas has an open invitation. We hope the visit will take place at a suitable time for both sides." The Russian news agency mentioned that Abbas intended to visit Russia in November of last year, but the visit was postponed at the request of the Palestinian side.
