Evacuation of Versailles Palace in Paris Due to Bomb Threat

French media reported on Wednesday that Versailles Palace in Paris was evacuated of nearly 2,000 people due to a bomb threat. The palace administration announced on its account on "X" that "for security reasons, Versailles Palace is evacuating visitors and will reopen as soon as the necessary checks have been completed."

A police source stated that "approximately 2,000 people were forced to leave the premises due to the bomb threat." Later in the evening, the palace administration indicated that "the necessary checks have been completed, and visitors will soon be able to enter the palace again."

Since mid-October, Versailles Palace, located a few kilometers from Paris, has faced several bomb threats. The Louvre Museum, as well as several airports and educational institutions, have also received similar alerts.
