The Lebanese Table Tennis Federation organized "International Table Tennis Day" at the Islamic Orphanage in Talet al-Hashish. Present at the event were the head of the Sports Department in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mohammed Awidat, representing Minister George Klas, the Director General of the Islamic Orphanage Bashar Qutli, the President of the Table Tennis Federation George Koubli, his Deputy Adel Damaj, the Director of Public Relations and Media at the Orphanage Rania Zantout, and Hanan Ibrahim, the promoter of International Table Tennis Day in Lebanon, along with several volunteer officials from the Orphanage.
George Koubli expressed his happiness that the Islamic Orphanage hosted this sports event, highlighting "the efforts of everyone from the Federation and organizers to make it successful." Rania Zantout emphasized the "deep relationship with the Lebanese Table Tennis Federation in a sports, cultural, and humanitarian event that embraced hundreds of children."
In conclusion, commemorative shields were distributed to Awidat, Koubli, Damaj, Federation member Rita Bseibess, and Maysaa Bseibess, who oversaw the organization of 450 table tennis events worldwide on the same day.
