The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance has advised that units from the army will conduct artillery firing on 4/8/2023 starting from 16:00 until completion, involving the use of live ammunition with heavy weapons at the Tyba firing range. Additionally, an army unit will conduct training exercises at the Zahrani facilities from 4/8/2023 to 21/8/2023, between 6:00 and 14:00 daily, which will include live ammunition firing.
Furthermore, an army unit will hold training exercises at the Hariri Complex - Kfarchalous from 3, 4, 11, 12, 19, and 20/8/2023, between 8:00 and 14:00 each day, also incorporating live ammunition firing. The army unit will conduct training exercises from 9/7/2023 to 4/8/2023 between 8:00 and 22:00 daily in the areas of Kfarchalous, the Hanous training field in Hammat, Bjedrifel, Kfatoun, and Jurd al-Aaqoura - Hadath Baalbek, involving both live and blank ammunition firing with heavy and medium weapons.
Therefore, the Army Command urges citizens and owners of fishing and leisure boats not to approach the exercise areas at the specified times and locations mentioned above.
