Today, Sunday, the artillery of the Sudanese army targeted the positions of the Rapid Support Forces in the neighborhoods of Arkwit, Al-Mamoura, and Al-Jereif southeast of the capital Khartoum. Fighter jets belonging to the army attacked gatherings believed to be affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces in the Soba area, with thick columns of smoke rising from some surrounding areas. Additionally, army aircraft bombed three sites of the Rapid Support Forces around the Armored Corps area in southern Khartoum, where the armored corps, surrounded by residential gatherings, has turned into a battleground for daily confrontations between the army and the Rapid Support Forces. A series of explosions were heard during sporadic flights of reconnaissance aircraft, which are likely the surface-to-air weapons of the Rapid Support Forces attempting to counter the army's aerial strikes.
