A tragic incident occurred in the city of Badrashein, Giza Governorate, Egypt, early Wednesday morning when a vehicle with passengers fell into a water drain, leading to the drowning of three individuals and the survival of two others.
Details indicate that Egyptian authorities received a report about a private car falling into the Marioutiya Canal near the village of Abu Sir. Rescue forces promptly rushed to retrieve the vehicle and its passengers. The forces recovered the bodies of three individuals who drowned, all of whom were from the village of Manshiyat Dahshur, while two others survived and were still alive inside the vehicle.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident, and the bodies have been transferred to Badrashein Hospital, with the prosecutor's office notified to take over the investigation.
